HERMÈS SILK POP UP STORE

Hermes honors its famous silk scarves yet again.
After Hong-Kong, Hermes renews its "Silk Bar" concept in New York.
Decorated in American retro, it takes its visitors back to the times of their childhood.
On the menu: hopscotch, hula hooping, photo booths and mini-golf.
The interactive, playful experience is launched simultaneously with the digital campaign feating the "Silk Knots" mobile app, demonstrating the numerous ways to tie its silk scarf.

The pop-up — the cosmetic brand’s first ever such endeavor — will occupy 800 square feet inside the terminal’s Lexington Passage and is expected to remain open from Aug. 20 through January of 2013. This pop-up shop will carry Bobbi Brown’s entire collection of color cosmetics, fragrance and skin care.

After the excitement Flatiron found last year at Eataly, New Yorkers are delighted by the opening of Il Buco Alimentari e Vineria- a genuine Italian restaurant with a similar grocery store-meets-restaurant space.

STORY
The store houses a rotating collection of unique wares from a balance of local companies and well-known brands. Just between an art gallery and a pop-up store, and designed to mirror the editorial style of a magazine, STORY will  invite guest curators and architects every four to six weeks : they will change out all its merchandise, design, fixtures and reinvent the store around a different story-based theme.
