MAISON & OBJET September 2014

As it approaches its 20th anniversary, the trade show’s latest edition displays its resolutely international character, with 53% international exhibitors (+7%) and 50% foreign visitors. With a rise in major exports, the show continues to draw an ever-increasing international audience.
This development goes hand in hand with the globalization of the decoration market, opening the prospect of new business opportunities to exhibitors. This especially applies in the Asia-Pacific and Pan American regions, where Maison et Objet is developing Maison et Objet Asia and Maison et Objet Americas (May 2015).

In Paris, 3000 exhibitors displayed their wares in a 250 000 square meter space.  This edition revolved around the theme of SHARING which was developed in 3 trend forums.
An exploration of the « Generation G » phenomenon: new uses and values reconfiguring our ways of living together ».
