Summer 2013, Lille, January 18-19, 2012

A trade fair that continues to be a pleasure to visit thanks to its size and summer atmosphere in the midst of winter.

4 fashion moods were presented in the forum, they were transversal for the women’s and casual unisex markets plus an additional forum for the childrenswear market.

SEEN at the forum

A cool, dynamic, ecological, summertime mood

everyday wear: a shirting mood in dress and suit weights of 100% cotton or cotton blends
country tailoring : rural classics for the city, durable looks in color, a focus on pure or blended linen and hemp, rustic weaves, faded twills and herringbones for casualwear, washed out silkies in a feminine version
girly couture : a vintage, fresh, smart mood with clean cottons and summer tweeds in solid and multicolored cottons
action painting : a focus on spotty, abstract prints on white grounds for cottons or silkies
surf influence : a beachwear mood for swim and sport knits in flashy colors
psychedelic exotics : extravagant prints, digital versions of multicolored island florals

A nocturnal, eccentric mood

neo-30's and 40's : florals and geometric “tie” motifs, two and three-tone prints on black grounds contrasted with acidic tones on fluid, everyday silkies
retro kitsch:rhinestone shine, pink, metallic sequins, girly and glamorous
sexy femme fatale:black and dark blue knits and technical, stretch fabrics, satiny or glossy
nocturnal prints : fireworks and city lights on nocturnal grounds to shine without sequins
vintage couture: a 70’s mood in two-tone, graphic floral prints on black grounds
voodoo : a tribal mood in two-tone prints on knits and casual, unisex cottons

Dreams of softness, nonchalance and faraway exoticism

swathed in chiffon : pastel and acidic, vapory and angelic
rococo : waffled, ruffled, gathered silkies and fluid pleatings
Far East : Indonesian prints, minute multicolors on jerseys and cottons, Japanese “kimono” florals in allovers or sumptuous placed prints
antique patinas : traces of gold powder and whitened metallics on lightweight knits
a pajama mood : fluid, relaxed and silky in knits and fluid silkies, half-mat satinies or crepes
cool natural: heathered jerseys and “jogging” fleeces in grays or gray-greens, slubbed and paired with satiny cottons or washed-out poplins
dye effects : naturals, graded, diffused colors on casual knits and cottons, tie-dye prints developed in pigment pinks, earthy ochres, indigo blues and faded blue-greens
a naturalistic, romantic jungle : on lightweight white satins, exotic, photoprint foliage pairs together with old engravings
island guipure laces : a handcrafted mood in ochre tones, reminiscent of a 70’s, “Emmanuelle” eroticism

modernity and practicality, casual chic and elegance

sport and tech : ultra-light windbreakers and functional sporty knits worked in whites and acidic yellow, softshells and more supple, sensual spacers
watery glossies : iridescent, metallic knits in light turquoises get precious reflections, silkies have a pearlized or pale silver look
fluid crepes and slippery satins : a focus on fairly weighty, finely grained crepes for fluid dresses or supple suits
digital vibrations : abstract, informal prints have solarized and x-ray effects
preppy sport : a focus on fresh cottons, piqués and “paper” hands for thin, clean, stretch denims
