An unmissable event celebrating innovation, creativity and know-how, Milan Design Week is organized around three highlights and emblematic sites:

  • ALCOVA, installed this year on two sites: Villa Borsani and Villa Bagatti Valsecchi (from April 15 to 21)
  • The Milan TRIENNALE
  • The SALONE DEL MOBILE (April 16 to 21)

Beyond these highlights, the city itself becomes a playground for design enthusiasts, with its neighborhoods housing legendary showrooms and other immersive installations. Peclers Paris experts share with you an inspirational journey through Milan to awaken new perspectives and stimulate your creativity.

ISOLA DISTRICT

NILUFAR DEPOT & GALLERY

This year during Milan Design Week, Nilufar presents “Time Traveler”, a major exhibition curated by Nina Yashar and aimed at exploring the history of design and its evolution over the years.

📍 Nilufar Deport: Viale Vincenzo Lancetti 34, Monday to Saturday from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.

📍 Nilufar Gallery: Via della Spiga 32, Monday from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. and Tuesday to Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

ISOLA DESIGN FESTIVAL

The Isola Design Festival is reinventing itself this year with a new format. The exhibition “This Future is Currently Unavailable” will take over the spaces of Lampo Milano, WAO PL7 and Galleria Bonelli. Isola is preparing to transform these hidden treasures into unmissable destinations.

CONVEY

New brands, a schedule of unique events and a selection of international names to guide the new wave of designers.

ADI DESIGN MUSEUM

During Milan Design Week, the ADI Design Museum will be the scene of events and installations designed to explore the world of contemporary design and its historical roots.

📍 Piazza Compasso d’Oro 1, from 10:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. except Friday.

Also worth visiting in the heart of Isola District: the Fonderia Napoleonica Eugenia and New Store 2.0.

BRERA DISTRICT

UNNO GALLERY

This year, UNNO GALLERY presents new collections designed by Mark Grattan, Estudio Persona, Habitacion 116 and Andrea Vargas Dieppa.

📍 Via Palermo 8, from April 12 to 20 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and April 16 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.

MUTINA

Mutina celebrates the creative world of French designer Ronan Bouroullec with a double installation at Casa Mutina and Spazio Cernaia.

📍 Via Cernaia 1/a, from April 15 to 21 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.

THE MUUTO APARTMENT

A space where art, architecture, design and nature converge to create a stimulating interior. The six rooms present an updated vision of the Muuto house, a distinctive universe of colors, lights, materials and sensations, displayed alongside the new products.

PHILIPPE HUREL x TRISTAN AUER

In collaboration with Tristan Auer, the French furniture brand Philippe Hurel presents its first exhibition, Angle de Vue, highlighting a series of cabinets.

AQUA CREATIONS by StudioPepe

Discover AQUA, the new immersive experience orchestrated by Studio Pepe where water becomes an inspiring principle and a design concept.

DESIGN VARIATIONS – MOSCAPARTNERS

This year, Design Variations welcomes visitors with an in situ installation entitled Corridoio by the French naturalized Italian artist Nathalie Du Pasquier.

ROSSANA ORLANDI

Number 14, via Matteo Bandello, is one of the best-known addresses for design lovers and those who come to Milan from all over the world.

ZAHA HADID DESIGN x KARIMOKU

A collaboration between British design firm Zaha Hadid Design and Japanese furniture brand Karimoku, the Hybridation exhibition features new and existing wooden furniture.

Other must-see places in this neighborhood: The Farm Shop, Superdesign Show & of course Padiglione Visconti – Ikea.

PORTA VENEZIA

LASVIT AT PALAZZO ISIMBARDI

FORMAFANTASMA x WONDERGLASS CONTRASTO

By emphasizing the reciprocity of differences, CONTRASTO seeks tension and intrigue: between light and darkness, between texture and smooth, between opaque and transparent, and ultimately from transfiguration glass from the molten state to the solid state.

📍 Istituto dei Ciechi – Via Vivaio 7, from April 16 to 20.

LASVIT AT PALAZZO ISIMBARDI

During Milan Design Week, Lasvit transforms Palazzo Isimbardi with its installations and new collections and reaffirms its position as a leader in innovation in materials and glass.

📍 Corso Monforte, 35 from April 16 to 21.

MOOOI

Dutch design brand Moooi is hosting an exhibition highlighting its existing and new collections. Titled “A Life Extraordinary,” the exhibition reflects a living, breathing space while showcasing new designs by Cristián Mohaded and BCXSY, as well as a series of rugs and wall coverings.

VERO

Presentation of the new collection in collaboration with Hannes & Fritz, Jamie Wolfond and Thomas Woltmann.

LA NENA x INEFABLE STUDIO

LA NENA x INEFABLE STUDIO

In addition to the new image of the establishment, La Nena Home presents the latest collection of cutlery and wine glasses. Exclusive creations that project the essence of the brand: design, quality and personality.

CASA ORNELLA

Maria Vittoria Paggini at Casa Ornella Porno Chic: A far l’amore comincia tu. The new interior project supported by designer Maria Vittoria Paggini leads us to the rediscovery of the home as a place of intimacy, in a journey between vibrant chromatism and unusual decor to experience the very essence of ourselves.

NUOVA x HYPEBEAST

UNLIMITED DESIGN ORCHESTRA

Presented as part of 5Vie Network’s Unlimited Design Orchestra, Duets showcases the latest experiments in movement, music and collaboration. Two interactive urban archetypes encourage collective compositions: a bench that rocks and plays choral music, and a terminal that transforms the act of walking into dancing (from the Musical Lines series).

📍 Via Cesare Correnti 14, from April 15 to 22.

NUOVA x HYPEBEAST

Experience time travel. It may be 2024, but inside Via Stampa restaurant, NUOVA takes us back to 1971, with a multi-sensory exhibition and immersive performance that brings together furniture, lighting, custom clothing, perfumes, music, gastronomy and theater.

📍 Via Stampa 8, from April 15 to 21 from 9:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.

To extend the experience in the heart of the 5VIE District, stop at the Riviera x Kuo Duo as well as the Palazzo Litta.

CENTRALE

In the heart of the Centrale district, don’t miss the Élitis showroom, the Oxilia Gallery, which will present the minimalist furniture of Danish designer Frederik Fialin.

Or the installation of Andrea Caputo Studio & Invernomuto which will highlight XL Extralight® and Industream innovations. And finally the 6:AM Glassworks studio presents a process for reusing glass through an installation at Dropcity with FLOAT: a study on a transformation process reinterpreting glass.
