Diversity, inclusivity, ethics and sustainability have imposed themselves as an essential leitmotif for the fashion industry and even more so for the LVMH 2020 Prize. The 8 design finalists of the 7th edition now move on to the final that will be held at Fondation Louis Vuitton.

PETER DO 

Peter Do  is  a Vietnamese native designer, who after designing for Phoebe Philo and Derek Lam  created his own brand in 2018. His women’s label, first launched on internet with a group of friends he met online, is based on a common goal: begin manufacturing garments in  New York City again to support craftsmanship, local production, authenticity and sustainability while nourishing a creative community that combines youth, kindness and luxury.

His perfectly constructed or deconstructed suit and dress models with their brutalist accents are designed, not with sketching, but rather by being fitted and draped on the body
